You might already believe that Amazon runs a loyalty programme. Its Loyalty Prime subscription service achieves retention by offering a basket-full of benefits that are lost if the customer unsubscribes. In this way they are retained. However, on Valentine’s Day, Amazon raised the bar once again, with a cross-platform, self-service loyalty feature called Amazon Moments.
